You just cannot beat the feeling of getting lovely feedback, my customer think I make beautiful well made goodies how about you take a look for yourself and grab a unique item and give as a gift to someone special.  Christmas is coming.  Or you could just treat yourself.

Gifts galore …

News from Today’s Craft Fair

Well that’s Craft Fair no 4 all done.  Bowlers is a great sized venue, plenty of parking and easy to get to.

This was their first craft fair, but there is a large Car Boot on the same site which brought in much needed customers, it was a little disappointing but as it was the first one this could be why hopefully the next one in November will have a better turn out.

On a better note met up with some lovely fellow crafter’s and made some new contacts. Links at the bottom of this Blog to some of the other stall holders.

This is our stall for today with my lovely little helper Lydia, together with my friend Anne who brought her crochet work.

Craft Fair ….. tomorrow eeek!

Almost time for my 4th Craft Fair @ Bowlers, getting very nervous now, everything packed and now deliberating if I needs to make any more items, (I have 210 items ready to go)

I have a few hours left to make like crazy …  although I really do need to get more sleep as I am in work at 11pm until 330am … 3 hours ish sleep then its off to the Fair.

There will be over 60 stalls there, with everything you can imagine from handmade soaps, jewellery, cup cakes, bags, blankets, Christmas (yes Christmas) decorations and gifts, why not come along and get some of your gifts early.

Opening at 9am on Sunday until 3pm there is plenty of time to pop down and see all the lovely hard wring you lovely work us crafty people have been doing to bring to you lovely handmade goodies.

Preparing for my Craft Fair

I have now moved my Blog to WordPress from Blogger

Well I have been very busy over the last few weeks.

I have made several new things like reversible handbags, purses ~ some of which match the handbags I have been making too so you can buy a matching set – ideal for Christmas presents.

this a large tote canvas bag with postage stamp fabric highlights

  

And the last 2 images are of the 3rd reversible bag I have made using canvas and blue/green/purple floral fabric.

I always get very nervous and have sleepless nights before a fair even though this will be the fourth one I have done, I am still worried I will not take enough of the right items or will take too much and make my stall look crowded or not take enough and make it look sparse.  Its hard to decide what to take, how much of each item to put on display at once.  How to set out the stall is another thing I worry about, I don’t want it to look messy but want to make sure all my items are on display as you never know who is coming or what they are looking for.  Just need to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best, at least I’ll have a friend with me this time selling her lovely crochet work.

I have made some lovely Bandana dribble bibs for the little ones in your lives, and have some brilliant little sock creatures like my monkey’s, snails and cat & mouse sets.  I also have some cute little children’s Aprons and drawstring bags which have lot of uses from PE bags to Lego bags ~ several fabrics available.  Oven gloves with pretty cupcakes, pot stands too.  Also I will have a few of my lovely cushions there too.

I have been getting everything together and cannot believe the amount I have made over the last few weeks.

I just hope there will be lots of lovely visitors to my stall who will be as pleased as I am with my goodies and will buy one or two for themselves or for gifts for friends and family.

With Christmas coming this will be an ideal time to get those presents early, be organised so you can relax during the festive season.
